Well today it is thank you cards.  One will be used for a sweet woman that lives in our neighborhood that sets up monthly luncheons for the neighborhood ladies. It is quite the task that she undertakes so the rest of us decided to take up a collection and I also volunteered to make a card.  I have made three so far and someone else in the neighborhood will have to decide which one to use.  Anyway here they are

The top one is my own creation.  The middle is a take on a card I made at a card class, and the last one is one that I made at a card class.  I have to thank MaryJo Wellington again for the terrific ideas.

I also golfed today but we won't talk about how that went.  My artificial leg is not working properly so that is part of the problem.  In fact it totally stopped working on the 7th hole so I had to walk with a stiff leg.  Urrrrrrr!  It makes me so frustrated.  Enough for today there will be more tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Cards

Well I have gotten the blah's out of my head and made 3 cards today.  Getting the creative bug back.  All birthday cards and one I made with paint chips.  An idea I got off of Pinterest.  I was very happy with all three cards but that one with the paint chip was so fast and easy.  I love that stuff.  Here they are, enjoy!

Isn't this paint chip thing cool?

Several weeks back my youngest grandson, Cohen, who is now 1year old came to visit Grandpa and Grandma in Florida.  He loved the golf cart and even if I do say so myself he is currently the cutest baby ever.  Take a look at these photos

Don't know what surprised him but that is a look of a lifetime.

2 weeks after Cohen, his cousins Brandon and Blake came to visit us.  They are much older and not as easily entertained as Cohen but we enjoy having them visit nonetheless.  Brandon is still as shy as ever around a camera but Blake is still my little ham.

Family is wonderful!!!

Well it has been quite a while since my last post.  Time goes by so quickly.  Three weeks of March was spent enteraining friends and family. No time to create anything or even work in the craft room (it seconds as a bedroom).  I have been attending some classes hoping for some inspiration but I gues my mind finally kicked into gear.  I am sure you all aware of the Pinterest web site. Well I have beeen folowing some very cute card artists. I thank all of you ladies that let me come to your sites deserve a great bring Thank You.  I do have some cards to share with you today.  One I CASed from the pinterest site. I was intrigued by the use of a reverse image. That is embossing stuff.  Let me know what you think.

The next card is one that I made in a class and thought it was very cute.  Blue is one of my favorite colors.

This next card was dry embossed and I added a pink butterfly and used a glitter pen on the butterfly.  Rather  plan I think but pretty just the same.

Now this card turned out so well for me.  The little metal bird worked out well as an accent on this card.

Well that is about it for now.  I enjoyed having my family visit but it did sort of cramp my creative side.  Will get going because there are so many things to make for spring.

Oh a special hello and Congratulations to our friends Shirley and Dave on the purchase of their new home in Polo Ridge.
